This agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on this ____ day of ___________, 20, by and between Prodigy French Bulldogs (“Seller”) and the undersigned Buyer (“Buyer”). The parties agree to the following terms and conditions regarding the purchase of a French Bulldog puppy (“Puppy”) as described below.

1. Deposit and Payment Terms

 

1.1 The deposit of $__________ has been made via , representing 25% of the final balance of $ (shipping included).

1.2 The remaining balance of $_____ is due no later than ________ weeks before the anticipated Placement Date of __________.

1.3 Payment must be made via the agreed-upon payment method. The Puppy will not be released until full payment is received.

1.4 Deposits are non-refundable and constitute a commitment to purchase the Puppy. If the remaining balance is not paid in full by ___________, the deposit will be forfeited, and the Puppy will be made available for sale to another party.

2. Modifications

 

2.1 Any modifications to this Agreement must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties. Oral modifications are invalid.

3. Registration

 

3.1 All puppies will be registered with either the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) or the American Kennel Club (AKC), depending on the Buyer’s location. These registration certificates are recognized worldwide for pedigree purposes.
 

 

4. Buyer’s Responsibilities

 

The Buyer agrees to:

4.1 Use “Frenchie House” as the prefix in the registered name of the Puppy.

4.2 Not sell, gift, or transfer the Puppy to any third party, such as an agent or puppy mill, without written consent from the Seller.

4.3 Provide the Puppy with proper and humane care, ensuring it is not permanently kenneled, chained, or neglected.

4.4 Ensure the Puppy receives routine veterinary care, including annual physical exams, vaccinations, and worming.

4.5 Properly socialize and train the Puppy to promote its well-being.

5. Health Guarantee

 

5.1 The Puppy is guaranteed to be in good physical condition for the first 72 hours after delivery to the Buyer. A one-year health guarantee is also provided.

5.2 The Puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt at the Buyer’s expense.

5.3 If the veterinarian identifies a severe physical condition directly attributable to the Seller within the first 72 hours, the Buyer may be eligible for a 50% refund of the Puppy’s purchase price.

5.4 The Puppy is guaranteed against genetic/hereditary defects causing death or severe impairment for one year. If such a condition arises, the Seller will reimburse the Buyer 50% of medical expenses, provided documentation from a licensed veterinarian is submitted.

 

 

6. Exclusions

 

6.1 The Seller does not guarantee against conditions common to the bulldog breed, including but not limited to:

• Cherry eye

• Loose hips

• Skin allergies, yeast, or fungus

• Luxating patellas

• Elongated soft palate or stenotic nares

• Brachycephalic syndrome

• Hernias

• Mild heart murmurs (grades 1–3)

 

6.2 Non-life-threatening health issues (e.g., kennel cough, coccidia, or giardia) caused by environmental factors are excluded from this warranty.

7. Liability

 

7.1 The Seller assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages caused by the Puppy after placement with the Buyer.

8. Communication and Viewing

 

8.1 Once the deposit is made, the Buyer may schedule video calls to view the Puppy up to twice per week until the Placement Date.

9. Breach of Agreement

 

9.1 Failure by the Buyer to comply with the terms of this Agreement, including neglect or mistreatment of the Puppy, will result in the termination of this Agreement without refund.
